| Suppose I can start one of these now. As a few of you may know I had Ringland failure on the hatch a couple of month back now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So off to Andy K's it went after a delay on the pistons arriving they arrived at the beginning of the week and the work on the engine casings began. As I've kept the compression ratio the same the bores didn't need to be altered much to compensate the pistons. I've went for the closed deck instead of pinning along with 14mm head stud conversion so block should be nice and solid. While it has been off the road the saving in fuel has allowed me to buy a couple of extra little bits for it Japspeed full 3" system [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]japspeed front mount [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]K&N with RCM trumpet (trumpet cut down) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]HRC 340lph fuel pump [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ,TGV deletes, Along with the engine internals I'll upload some pics of them as I get them. And last but not least a billet wheel by JMG [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I'll update it as it comes along.

| Yeah I was looking at that. Kindon said the pump was kind of a direct with a little modification The front mount is still in the box mate going to wait till I get 321V before I put it on. | |

they are more like scaffold bars than studs. I am getting excited again, cant wait to get mine back and mapped I think the VF48 with billet wheel might be good for 400hp+ turned right up, we will see. All I know is that these engines will eat that power all day long.

Dave, if your trying that power go 2.5 then these no problem with lag even on a very big turbo looks like there's going to be some big horsepower cars in NESF again.

| A well built 2.1 engine will cope with that, spec up the right parts and it'll pop along just fine.
Sure there's a close too 800bhp 2.1 kicking about.

Sure there's a close too 800bhp 2.1 kicking about. But it won't be good on the road, all the power will be at the top end and not usable on the road.
