| Never used it mate, some people jet wash, but that's not for me, if you can, remove what you can degrease n clean it off the car the replace for best results, Maguires degreaser and engine lacquer is good stuff, both bottles should be bout £16 all in. | |

| Looks good. Do you have any details for the battery cover i.e. seller, size, price etc ? Saw one on ebay for about £50 but it didn't look as good as yours. | |

Ahh, custom made. Not sure what to go for then. I only have 2 blue items in the engine bay, everything else is Red/Black/Silver so I would like to hide/replace them.

Daz - it's The Terminator - Colin is the new owner [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Colin - you could get one of these and then get it dipped to match the black carbon inlet manifold or the top radiator brackets in candy lava red carbon [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Ahhhh, my apoligies, what a tit, didn't realise, mine was scrap bit of steel plate, cut out corners for terminals, bend edges over in vice, rub down sharp edges n HYDROTEK did the rest, if you gonna dip it, you cud cut a piece of plastic to shape, the dipping process hides everything, as for BOV, remove, mask chrome areas and small red/black tin ov spray shud do the trick. NOTE- It's hard to improve on perfection | |

NOTE- It's hard to improve on perfection I was going to delete the BOV completely as Dr K said I didn't need it and get a black battery. |

| My battery cover is almost identical. Originally high chrome steel from Badass on eBay which I eventually had shot blasted then dipped by Locky with my skull pattern, so they are available if you look for them. | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] That looks like a good option. I considered a black battery but you mentioned it was pretty new so that would be a waste. I emailed Turbo Dynamics (the Turbosmart disti) about a black top cap for the BOV, no reply yet.

| If you can get the size of the cover you want, I'll see if there is some thin steel laid around at work and get the edges folded over. Wouldn't mind 1 myself now lol. | |
