Subject: Car won't start wiring? Wed 6 Aug - 17:15
Hi . Just after a bit help getting my 96 sti import running. Car cranks fine and was running. It cut out after driving for about 15 mins. Now has no spark or fuel. The check engine light doesn't come on when ignition is on and I can't carry out flash code diagnostic check. I've changed ecu and engine loom and the loom around the front of the car as it was damaged a while back. I think it's getting power to the ecu( checked with a metre) has a cobra alarm / immobiliser fitted . Any ideas on what to check next would be greatly appreciated

crank sensor is the main sensor ecu uses for initial starting, if its not even attempting to fire atall then most likely its this, assuming u don't have a wiring fault

Cheers I was going to try this today but was thinking ecu may not have power as I'm not getting check engine light when I turn ignition on. Also can't run a flash code diagnostic . Could crank sensor cause this too
