| Just wondered if anyone had planned on goin seeing as 12 was such a sham. Nesf had the biggest stand and I my opinion had the best cars. Think someone was doin something to the judges lol.
I know its months away .id put my name forward as a judge just to even the odds as I don't like under handed dealings ...

| Missed this years event, so I was looking forward to next year, but from the feedback I got, I'm in two minds. Hopefully they pull somethign out of th ebag that will convince a few more folks to show their faces. Would be a shame for it all to fall flat when its got such a heritage. | |

Now that is a good shout Carl - if there is one event definitely worth going to its TOTB.

| Just to let you know guys I have nothing to do woth the people that is left in cumbrian scoobs who took over the running off it last year The facts are After NBO 2 years ago we held a committee meeting 3 weeks later In July Everyone agreed that the show had been another success couple of minor tweeks but nothing that could of been improved they asked me if I wanted ti continue for last year and I said I was happy too and started my brain thinking on how to make massive changes for last year although I didn't gave detailed plans it included Fetching in other car groups such as mixed performance car clubs Singular owners clubs such as jukes American muscle cars High performance clubs Ferrari Porsche etc Hi FI install classes again Detailing classes Modification classes By fetching in more owners clubs maybe they had links to new suppliers That was my vision for Last year show Everything was minuted
In September the cumbrian scoobs held another committee meeting of which I was a member I could not atend as I was on holiday for a month innasia and Australia I checked the written agenda and NBO was NOT even on the agenda as it had been discussed in the julys meeting and as I would not of been able to return to atend the meeting things would not really should of been discussed as I was NBO chairman and founder
When I arrived back in the uk I noticed the minutes had been posted up on the secure site
No judging classes for non Subaurs in the arena ( meant no b-SPOC and porsche owners club who had equally high attendance in the arena ) They could turn up but not show in the arena
They also wanted to return to basics Core subarus show only for subarus
I went ballistic (as chairman and founder who had led it for ten years be a most succsfuk car show for singular owners clubs ) I posted on the website asking the basic questions Why discuss when not in the agenda ? Why discuss when I was not even at the meeting ?
No one had the decency to contact me be phone or email or post the decison publically for 8 weeks and explain why despite over 86 views in the thread
Eight weeks later I resigned from cumbrian scoobs
These are facts as I have copies of them
They ran the NBO last year and it was interesting I see the comments wrote from many people

| Lets see how the land lies next year and make a decision then, at the end of the day its all down to personal choice and how much time you've got spare plus the money you'd have to shell out ;-) Ive never been to Croft (probably the only person on here to say that, haha) so the BTCC might be interesting.

| Copy of committee notes
APOLOGIES: Denise, Lordy & Rob.
Discussed charity for 2014, decided to investigate Northern (Cumbria/NE/Yorks.) based charity as beneficiary for 2014 to enable support to us by charity personnel on the day. ACTION = Trevor & Julie. Timings, Classes and Auction discussed .Feedback from other clubs discussed.
It was agreed that for NBO12 there will be no Non-Subaru class. It’s a Subaru show and feedback and the consensus of opinion is that we concentrate on Subaru`s only.
Other Marques welcome on the field but we will not have them on show in the ring. Core values = Subaru show for Subaru people.
Timing changed to have auction and judges break in the middle of proceedings to make things more effective.

| Greetings Everyone , just a quick note to let you all know that the NBO will be taking place at LWV once again in 2015 , NBO 13 will be on Sunday June 21st. The BTCC at Croft is the weekend after so we can all go to both The nice people at the BTCC are on the ball for once in 2015. We hope to see many of you at LWV on June 21st 2015. I agree last years NBO 12 wasn`t as good as in past years , BUT we had it all dropped on us at the last minute and had three months to put a show together, despite the best efforts of a few to sabotage it. We ran the show for the Northern Subaru community , learnt a lot from the experience and listened to what everyone said afterwards. Next year we will be better . There are a lot of misconceptions about the judging which are all non-logical and factually incorrect , but thats the nature of the beast. We have some excellent sponsors already in place for 2015 and an exciting new avenue for the charity which will bring a lot to the show. The supercars and other marques will return also. For those of you at NESF who have kindly volunteered to help with the NBO in 2015 I will be in touch shortly after Xmas with more details for you. Lordy is entitled to his opinion , without him there wouldn`t be an NBO in the first place , and out of respect for his achievements I won`t respond to his missive. I could tear his mix of fact and fiction apart but I won`t. The NBO is intended to be a show to bring the Northern Subaru community together , I`m not going to spoil that ethic or the heritage . As with everything in life you only get out what you put in. So lets all work together . Theres plenty of time to think it through and make your own minds up . Be in touch with updates soon. | |

| I didnt attend NBO12 due to HG failure but of what iv heard it was a shambles. I enjoyed my 1st NBO last year bit got abit samey after a couple of hours but I did enjoy it. Definately need something there for kids, as they moan and twist on as people cant afford the prices of the theme park.
Need a Best Car In Club aswel for bragging rights within each club. I know its ages away yet but there is some ideas.

| Id like to pick up a few things you half answered ...why should it be just the northern subaru clubs..why not the southern jessies aswell .sorry ill rephrase that, clubs south of Leeds.as the car scene in general i a bit on the quiet side ,doesnt it make more sense opening it up to all.and other car marques..and I beg to differ on the judging talk about 1 sided ..and it wasn't just me saying it aswell . We all know in the past Lordy has put a lot of time and effort into Nbo to get it where it was so why couldn't you carry on where he left off instead of changing the idea ,move onwards and upwards not backwards ....that is just my opinion | |

| Shame it cudent move to croft or sum where with a bit of a trax like tee side jarring track . like what the summer madness lot do . I know its been part of light water valley for years and will never change as that's what makes it nbo .
Just so you cud see a bit of action . and yeah that's all you hear after each nbo about the judging not been fair .

| get it to croft and it may be good but last year all the prizes went to your club! and there was a lot of talk of fixing even by my self as i think there was! if it wasnt for nesf nbo would of been a very empty field, i see a lot of very nice subarus and i work on a lot of concourse classic cars ie mg, and triumphs and some of our boys have exceptional cars . I for one wont be attending nbo at lightwater vally and to be honest it was totally boring I think us nesf lads should organize a proper show invite all the clubs to a big speed extravaganza except the evo club mind i think nbo has had its day | |
