| Alright, used to be on here a few years back with my White Classic STI.... been running around in a few German whips since then, my current - a CLS 500 (5litre V8) but I woke up last Sunday and decided I wanted another impreza... Put a deposit on this Monday night and going down Friday (Bristol) to pick it up... Quick rundown of the spec (well what I can remember), all parts fitted in the last 1000 miles, chaps business has taken a turn for the worse and needs to release cash quick pretty fooking rare white JDM Hawkeye 2.0 Twinscroll STI (NOT the chocolate piston'd 2.5 UK STI) 55k Stage 2 clutch, RCM LM400 turbo @ 1.5bar, 850cc power enterprise injectors, RCM uprated fuel pump, RCM decat, Rota Alloy wheels, RCM stainless headers, Alcatek ecu running switchable anti lag, launch control and maps, remapped by Andrew Carr. I'd post a video of the antilag but I'm not allowed to for 7 days?... "New members are not allowed to post external links or emails for 7 days. | I didn't I had my GC8 STI then bought a Mondeo TDCI as the daily...got rear ended at stand still (he was doing 80mph) by a drunk 55 year old in a mini bus, lost my memory blah blah blah anyway - had to sell the STI to pay Mortgage and the Mondeo was written off obviously, then got back working and got company van.... CLS was bought again, as a comfortable weekend car (work 6 days a week so wanted something nice on my day off) and then I've ended up last sunday wanting another Impreza, think my mate starting to import his own pushed me over the edge to be fair.... or I could blame it on a midlife crisis, turning 30 next may and just got married last month ahhaha Gipa does all the work on all my cars :-) | |

| Yeah, it's not bad - only 306bhp in the barge but it pulls like a good'un and kept a hold of an E60 M5 on a 40-100 stretch on a private road, pulled over and had a chat with the guy, he thought it was the CLS55 AMG (5.5 V8 supercharged), said he had to hit the M button to properly leave me haha CLS is for sale as soon as I get my plate on the impreza | |

| Gauges to watch oil & boost, other than that - I think it's pretty much how i'd want it....oh I'll want the hks ssqv off too depending how much Andy F will charge for the map tweak, will be novelty for a while but will start getting on my tits after a few weeks...I've got a 6hr drive back from picking it up - no doubt i'll not want to look at the car for a couple weeks after that haha
I'd like to change the wheels too - they're nice but I think a nice set of 18" TE37s in bronze would be beautiful, my GC8 had them, albeit the 16 or 17" version.

I've previously installed Oil Pressure, Boost and Volt gauges because I didn't want to fook about removing the alternator ETC to get to the oil pressure line..... apparently I can put the temp AND pressure sensor in this www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1591or does it infact NOT go over cylinder 3? would make like so much neater/easier.. can admin remove this no link within 7 days bollocks please? massively annoying!!

Mario, I tried modifying his profile through the admin panel yesterday and had no luck, also couldnt a find previous history so I'll just amend his code posting for next few days as I did yesterday.

| Just bought my gauges and pod, hella horns will be bought tonight (unless there's better?), insurance changed from the CLS and bus ticket paid for... £9 to get to bristol can't be bad... what IS bad, is the 10hr 30min travel to the car as of 23:45 on Thursday I could have flown but I'd have gotten to the car at 4pm...THEN a 6hr drive home + food/pee stops. atleast this way, on friday I'll be semi fresh and have all day to come up the country and avoid all the average speed cameras on the A1 M1!!!!!! Like a kid at christmas here man! | |

| Sounds like a plan Aaron. Just be careful not to make the jump to hyper speed till you are well clear of those damn cameras. We came up the A1 and M1 the week before last and they had coppers stationed about 1/2 mile after the all clear, to catch people booting it after sitting in the 50 zone. Naughty sods. | |

| Just came in the post...bit pissed off in all honesty... I told the guy (and he agreed) to use the EXACT sizes on the .gov website to make the plate perfect... - .gov wrote:
- n Characters must be 79mm tall
n Characters (except the number 1 or letter I) must be 50mm wide n The character stroke (the thickness of the black print) must be 14mm n The space between characters must be 11mm n The space between the age identifier and the random letters must be 33mm n The margins at the top, bottom and side of the plate must be 11mm n Vertical space between the age identifier and the random numbers must be 19mm but this is what i've ended up with....slanted, ridiculous boarders, completely out of spec piece of shit.

| Got it!!!!!!!!!!!
What a MENTAL 22hours it's been!!!!! 6hr drive back turned into 10 thanks to idiots that decide to crash, and the roadworks/cameras!
I'm going to fill the tank again tomorrow to check my figures but it's saying 34mpg by my quick and VERY VERY tired calculations haga but I've managed WELL over 300 miles to the tank going no faster than 70 on cruise and the ODD leg stretcher haha
As I got to durham on the a1 toting along a green M reg came whizzing by me - anybody on here?
Car is an absolute animal, and what I didn't realise is the offset of the wheels is bang out and needs tyres stretching... I'll be looking to change these asap! And they're kerbed becauE they stick out that far!!!
