Thought it would be good to get a build thread on the go, this is from when the car was bought till a few weeks ago:
Its a 2005 Impreza WRX STi Type UK Widetrack which came with the PPP pack.
Once I got the car home I checked underneath and found it had a lovely 3" turbo back Mongoose exhaust rather than the PPP system. Also had a crap Bailey DV which was ruining the car.
After a few days I found when left out overnight it was taking a while to start - starter running but not engaging correctly. Big thanks to Mattybr5@MB Developments on here for sorting a replacement as well as various other pieces over the last 6 weeks.
I quickly fitted the starter motor but now car wouldn't start at all?! Checked replacement starter and was perfect. Time to strip down the car....
I am good friends with Mick at MB Motorsport so he got the lovely job of stripping everything down and a quick phone call to Scoobyclinic had an Exedy Pink box clutch kit & 6.7kg flywheel. The replacement starter also went on. Didnt expect to find the outer ring gear on the flywheel to have come off though - first for me and Mick:

- Perrin short ram intake
- Perrin boost solenoid
- GFB 50/50 DV
- Custom mapping session from Scoobyclinic

Started tweaking a few exterior bits:
- Private plate transferred on
- Headlights detangoed & smoked
- Carbon exhaust trim
- Boot debadged
- Hella Supertone horns
- Replaced crap front mudflaps to replacements same as rear
- Pink front grill badge

Well I ended up with another set of wheels - I wasn't happy with the 17" standard wheels in any colour so managed to sourced some of my favourite wheels:
18x8" ET45 Oz Superleggera's - they came with 245/40/18 Pirelli's but these are to tight to use so have ordered 235/40/18 Yokohama AD08R tyres and new carbon OZ centre caps so once they are repainted in anthracite they will look superb.
Some snaps of how it sat on the 245 tyres:

Also waiting for new brakes to arrive, got the following on order:

- DS2500 front pads
- Godspeed rear discs
- DS2500 rear pads
- Goodridge stainless brakelines
- Uprated brake fluid
Then its back to looking at increasing the power!
