Model identification for spotteds - thanks Kushbex

Hi all,
Just thought I would post a few pics to see if I am getting the Models right. Probably like most unclued up people I keep getting the nicknames for the cars mixed up i.e. Bugeye , Blobeye & Hawkeye .

I managed to find this class picture on Scoobypedia that explains everything nice and clearly.



At least now when I post in Spotted I will get my model type correct .

it"s correct but i think a hawkeye is from 2006-2007
but i can be wrong

handy,seen i only usually post a spotted if its a classic

LOL - my ex's 6yr old son can tell the difference, not THAT hard

and then theres the hatch that has been mistaken by me for a mazda and by mrs iddy for a seat - dont think Phil was impressed with me & jeanettes car spotting skills

The girlfriend thinks theres only 2 types of impreza - 'blue ones with gold wheels' and 'wasn't a blue one'

No idea what she thinks me silver one is.......

The 7 digit "applied model" code found on the vehicle identification plate inside the engine bay is decoded in the following way.

4.Year code A=MY93 B=MY94 C=MY95&96 D=MY97 (facelift) E=MY98 F=MY99 G=MY00
5.Number of doors 2=2 door coupe 4=4 door saloon 5=5 door wagon/hatch
6.Model type 8=WRX 7=RA type E=Sti D=Sti Type R & RA
7.Transmission D=5 Speed Manual AWD P=4 Speed Automatic AWD
