Waiting for an Email back from CDF Racing to see if he's doing another GB for their lightweight pulleys (pink for me!) to go on whilst Andy is rebuilding... what else can I look to do whilst the engine is out? I was 50/50 on a lightened flywheel but don't think I'll go that far.... anything else? was going to buy a second-hand header tank and spray that crinkle black (bottom) and red (top) but not sure if i'll have time... got alot of work on and going on holiday 5th of june, which is when it's in for rebuild...
ideas welcome...sensible ones...ish
Samco like coolant hoses... I like the look of Viper Performance hoses but they're as helpful as a Chocolate Fireguard - who's using what and where from? I hear SFS aren't as thick as they should be or something? very cheap like?

Aaron - not known to many but Andy Kindon is also a top class spray painter as well, so he could do your header tank for you while he is doing the engine - he did mine in satin black as well as my alternator, he also recently did my AP calipers and he has also done Nick Marshall's Brembos
You could also get Locky to hydrodip some bits for you -what is your engine bay like? Post a pic up so I can see what you are working with.

I'm trying to keep prices down man Mario haha
I could get everything dipped given half the chance and double the discount haha Don't have a pic of my engine bay because to look at, it's completely standard barring the turbo nestled away and K&n typhoon, I've modified my intake snorkel to direct air straight to the filter but still flow round the winner wing u bend to get some circulation in....

So the car is back from Andy Kindon's!!!!!!!!!! 4 weeks, four new heads, new camshafts, Cam sprokets and new blocks - at a huge expense I wasn't expecting but it's done, and running, VERY quick video of it after my 14mile drive home...currently 93 miles into the 1000 run in... shoot me now !!!!! Oh an had the wheels done in the colour I wanted, a mixture of Gunmetal, Anthricite & Fanny hair amount of Black!
I'll take better videos and pictures when I have some time off and decent weather, not often I get both together!
